Partnership Loan Program for Minority- and Women-Owned Small Businesses

The City of New Haven and partners are collaborating to provide financial relief and recovery resources to miniority-owned and wmen-owned small businesses in New Haven. Qualifying small business with 20 or fewer employees may apply for a 4% percent term loan for up to $25,000. After 12 months, New Haven businesses in good standing may qualify for up to 16.67% of their original loan amount forgiven.

Eat New Haven is a collaborative effort that is promoting New Haven restaurants. The website, eatnewhavenrestaurants.com, lists participating restaurants that are providing take-out, dine-in and delivery food during the pandemic. The program also ties into Marketplace New Haven, where you can easily buy gift cards to your favorite New Haven restaurants.

Civic Space Virtual Conference

Organized by the City of New Haven, the Civic Space Virtual Conference, held May 18th, hosted a variety of panels, workshops and discussions about resiliency and recovery in the midst of COVID-19. The Civic space conference was a time for us to come together as a community to share ideas, discuss challenges and build solutions during this time of crisis.
